Specialist Surgeons in Plastic Surgery
We are recruiting on behalf of Aarhus University Hospital — seeking dedicated Specialist Surgeons to join their plastic surgery team in the Department of Plastic and Breast Surgery.
About the Position
Aarhus University Hospital is looking for dedicated specialist surgeons to become part of the plastic surgery team in the Department of Plastic and Breast Surgery. As a specialist surgeon, you will be responsible for performing plastic surgery procedures at a highly specialised level and will play an active role in managing patient pathways within both plastic and breast surgery. The role includes participation in clinically complex work and can be tailored to your experience and area of expertise. There are also opportunities to engage in research and development activities to the extent that these align with your interests and competencies.
You will become part of a strong and engaged multidisciplinary environment where close collaboration across professional groups is a natural part of everyday working life. There is a continuous focus on developing the department’s services and on creating the best possible conditions for both patients and staff.
About the Department
The Department of Plastic and Breast Surgery at Aarhus University Hospital is among Denmark’s leading departments within plastic and breast surgery. The department handles highly specialised functions for patients in the Central Denmark Region and the North Denmark Region, and is characterised by a high professional standard and a strong commitment to quality in patient care.
The department encompasses the Plastic Surgery Clinic, Breast Clinic, Inpatient Ward, and Patient Hotel — covering the full patient pathway. The department also has a strong focus on teaching medical students and hosts a well-founded clinical research unit.

- Hold a specialist qualification in plastic surgery
